As you go south on #6 from Espanola to Little Current, enjoy the hills through the beautiful La Cloche Mountains. You’ll reach Manitoulin Island over the century-old Swing Bridge crossing the North Channel, which is a famous sailing destination. Continue on #6 south, visit the historic village of Sheguiandah offering a museum with archeological artifacts, two picturesque waterfalls & Batman's Mill on Bass Creek.
Now choose: Route F, the scenic discovery route through Central Manitoulin from Sheguiandah; or continue south on #6 sometimes referred to as the “Eastern Bays Route”. Climb a 2 km hill to a lookout with an unsurpassed view of the North Channel, Georgian Bay and the La Cloche Mountains. Continue to historic Manitowaning. Visit the local museum, the old Norisle steamship moored at Bay Street Marina and catch a bite to eat. Back on #6, ride south to South Baymouth.
